Dear Readers,
This month has probably been the most productive in FS history. While FS may have only gotten 2 articles published (I know I said I had 4 planned, 3 of mine didn't get done), we saw some massive headways in the future of FS as well as it's child, FS-Air, and parent site, Fire Interactive.
Last Month's articles were Top Web Designs - 01 by Fire G and our first guest article Why is Design Important? by Andrew Turner. "Top Web Designs - 01" was supposed to be the first in a series of good web design inspirational posts, but from the lack of interest (over the month it only received 600 reads) I'm seriously considering the life of this series. Our other article though "Why is Design Important?" got pretty moderate traffic especially since I didn't advertise it, receiving close to 1500 views this month.
FS-Air is born
This month will forever be remembered as the birth month of FS-Air, as it went public on the last Friday with the release of "Episode 1: Coding in School" and "Episode 2: Website Start-up & Launch" a week later.
A Fire-Interactive site
I also got around to planning the future of FS and it's family. Now FS, FS-Air, and all future sites of mine will be child sites our new parent site, Fire-Interactive. For now, there's no page there for the domain since I haven't got a design ready, but the design will probably closely resemble it's child sites.
FS in 2009
Since FS is going to become a child of Fire-Interactive and we're entering a new year (full of hope for Obama), I'm going to be giving FS an evolutionary design update. All the content will remain in relatively the same spot, but the whole look will change (for the better, I promise). Right now the new design is still in the revision process, but overall the look is finalized.
As all ways I'd like to thank you all for your continued support of FS!

Definitely an improvement on the look. Very Envato-esque.
